On September 18, Inedge Power was invited by the Belt and Road Environmental Technology Exchange and Transfer Center (Shenzhen) (hereinafter referred to as the B&R Center) to participate in the “Green Silk Road” Elite Workshop – SCO Special Session: Riding the Wind to Go Global · Shenzhen Eco-environment Experience Exchange and Technology Matching Conference. Co-hosted by participants from the SCO Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation Training Program sponsored by China’s Ministry of Commerce and outstanding Shenzhen enterprises, the event featured in-depth discussions on low-carbon development and international technical cooperation.
The “Green Silk Road” Elite Workshop is a flagship series launched by the B&R Center in 2026. It aims to systematically share China’s ecological civilization philosophy and green development practices with Belt and Road partner countries. As a key session of this series, the SCO special event facilitates technology matching through experience sharing and advances industrial cooperation via technical exchanges, building a pragmatic and efficient platform to deepen green industrial collaboration between China and SCO member states.
Forging Joint Green Standards, Building Bridges for Cross-border Industrial Cooperation
At the event, representatives from the B&R Center delivered a keynote presentation on Shenzhen’s eco-environmental protection and green development practices, outlining the city’s approaches and achievements in water environment treatment, air pollution control, waste-to-energy and other fields. During the special promotion of the “Silk Road Green Label”, organizers elaborated on the certification system’s background, evaluation criteria and core strengths. Participants called for joint development of green standards and mutual recognition of qualifications across nations to lower barriers for cross-border collaboration and foster an open and interconnected green trade ecosystem under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Energy Storage Technology Roadshow Highlights In-house R&D and Engineering Capabilities
In the enterprise technology roadshow session, Qin Huaxin, Senior Solution Manager of Inedge Power, delivered a presentation on the company’s self-developed smart power and core energy storage technologies, full-spectrum product portfolio, and benchmark projects deployed in Belt and Road countries. Featured projects include the 30MWh energy storage project in Indonesia, 250MWh project in India and 53.5MWh project in Albania. Our solutions are well adapted to diverse operating conditions such as high temperature, high humidity and complex power grids.
Training participants and enterprise representatives engaged in extensive exchanges on energy storage deployment and cross-border industrial cooperation models. Inedge Power’s solid R&D foundation and global project delivery capacity drew recognition from attendees. Multiple overseas delegates expressed interest in follow-up in-depth discussions and potential project partnerships.
Openness for Win-Win Outcomes, Jointly Building a Clean and Beautiful Green Belt and Road
Trainees from the SCO training program remarked that the event offered them direct, in-depth insights into Shenzhen’s green development pathway and the industrial application of green technologies. They pledged to maintain regular communication with the B&R Center to advance more practical cooperation projects.
The B&R Center stated it will continue to leverage its role as a hub platform. Taking the “Green Silk Road” Elite Workshop as a key initiative, the center will further deepen green cooperation with partner countries, support the export of China’s green technologies, governance expertise and standards, and jointly build a clean and beautiful Green Belt and Road.
